Rice with meat and vegetables
This is an extended or more true version of my childhood 菜饭，or in American meaning but not word to word translation: one pot rice.
1/2 pound minced pork,
1/2 punch of spring onion, cut
5 shitake mushroom, cut
4 mixed squashes. cut
1 cup of rice,
cooking oil, salt pepper
Heat pot, add oil, onion, mushroom, meat to cook for 20 minutes.
add vegetables to cook 5 minutes
add rice to cook a couple of minutes
add 1 1/2 cup of water, bring to boil,
simmer 30 minutes,
It goes well with fresh salad.
But what does not go well with fresh salad?!
