Seared abalone mushroom

There is a newly opened grocery store in our neighboring town and close to my work in Palo Alto. They sell quality stuff, Semifreddi bread and various kinds of mushroom, some I have not seen. So I buy and try one at a time.

This time, abalone mushroom. With its jumbo size, it must be able to fake for steak.

2 abalone mushroom, slice to the thickness of 1.5 cm,
salt pepper cooking oil

Heat 1 table spoon of cooking oil in pan,
add sliced abalone to sear for 5 minutes in medium fire,
hello with salt pepper
turn over and sear for another 5 minutes,
hello again with salt pepper
