Frozen tofu

Frozen tofu

Tofu, when frozen, it becomes firm and have many holes. This makes it more chewy as well as absorbent to flavors.

I chopped one eggplant, one zucchini, on yellow squash and then one piece of frozen tofu, add herb, old and one generous spoonful of mince shitake pork preserve. Cover and cook for 10 minutes. Here it is.

  1. LOLI didn't see this. You are always one step ahead of me. First with the water covered pencils now the tofu.
Thanks for this. I will try in the morn. I never heard of your minced shitake pork preserve.I this something you made and I again missed? Or a store bought deal to look for. Either way you reminded me I bought some Shiitake mushrooms. I think I will use them with some home made Veg broth.

  2. I make big pots of meat of veggie stew and then put in bottles for eating during the busy working week.
