Flavorless rice pudding

Flavorless rice pudding

Still the leftover Japanese rice, I cooked the rest 2 cup by boiling with milk.

2 cups of leftover steamed rice,
5 cups of whole milk (low or nonfat for the health conscious)
Brown sugar for garnish

Put 2 cups of rice in pot,
add 1 cup of milk, simmer in low fire for 5 minutes
add another cup of milk, keep simmering
add milk cup by cup while simmering, till rice softened to desired texture
Total cooking takes 30 minutes or more
Close fire and let cool,
Serve lukewarm
Garnish with brown sugar
